Preppy Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Preppy. By using our website or placing an order you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”). Please read them carefully. These T&Cs outline the terms of sale, delivery, returns, consumer rights, and limitations you should be aware of.

These terms are governed by Australian law and incorporate your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) including mandatory consumer guarantees and protections against unfair contract terms.

2. Ordering & Acceptance

  • A binding contract is formed when we confirm your order with an email confirmation.

  • We reserve the right to cancel orders if products are out of stock, pricing is incorrect or for other legitimate reasons.

3. Pricing, Payment & GST

  • All prices include 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

  • Payment is processed at the time of order via the methods displayed on our site.

4. Delivery

  • Delivery timeframes and costs are outlined at checkout.

  • We aim for timely dispatch but are not liable for failures caused by courier delays.

  • You must ensure your shipping address is correct; we don’t accept responsibility for misdirected parcels due to customer error.

5. Consumer Guarantees & ACL Rights

  • All goods come with guarantees under the ACL, including that they are of acceptable quality, match their description, and are fit for purpose.

  • These rights cannot be waived or limited by these T&Cs 

6. Returns & Refunds

  • Faulty items: Accept free returns within 14 days of delivery, with full refund or replacement (see full policy in Returns section).

  • Change of mind: We do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind (e.g., wrong size or style) so please choose carefully.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Preppy will not be liable for loss or damage beyond replacing or refunding a faulty item.

  • We do not limit liability for death, personal injury, or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable laws 

8. Intellectual Property

  • All of our content designs, logos, images, text belongs to Preppy and is protected by trademark and copyright.

  • You may not replicate, use, or distribute our content without explicit written permission from Preppy.

9. Privacy & Security

  • Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, and protected.

  • By placing an order, you consent to our handling of your personal data as described.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the unlikely event of a dispute:

  • Contact us at support@preppy.com.au to resolve the issue directly.

  • If unresolved, consumers may seek assistance from the ACCC or their local consumer affairs agency.

11. General Provisions

  • If any part of these T&Cs is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in force.

  • These T&Cs may be updated at any time and posted on our website, please check back regularly.

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of its courts.
